Dear tumblr I’m here to sob a bit because this month has gone pretty rotten so far.
Halcon went amazing! The cat loafs were a hit and sold out the first day, and everything soon followed! I had money for rent and to pay bills and it looked like I could finally get my life relatively on a good track! Get bills paid! Get my commission list cleared up without worrying about trying to get more customers for a month! Get my phone reconnected! (Although I gotta say I am liking skype as a phone)
But last month my sisters husband’s unemployment insurance got cut off way early. Three months early. She’s been working 50+ hours a week trying to get her family staying alive but it’s hard. But lo and behold her sister made all this money just in time to save the day! :O (or at least save her from defaulting on rent thst month)
I have no problem lending them money, never have. I get paid back in the end and we’re always there for each other.
But they needed a damn large chunk of the money I earned and had left over after I paid rent. I’m talking like a grand here. All this money I was going to get my life on track with!
This was fine. It’s fine I’ll keep going and survive I always do. I’ve always done my best to be independent and self sufficient. I’M STRONG NOT GONNA KNOCK ME DOWN >:O
But.
Tonight my computer died.
It’s the graphics card I think. An old fuck, dependable but was never particularly good. It’s given up. It’s dead. My computer is unusable. I kinda need my computer to do my job! IT’S REALLY IMPORTANT!!!!
So the last few pennies I have left are going to getting it to the shop, checked out, and new parts to bring th back to life.
I don’t think I have enough pennies! And that’s all my savings, not including rent and bills and aaaaaagh :(((
SO! I’ve put cat loafs up for preorder on my etsy! I’d love to premake them but I can literally not embroider without a computer! I’m hoping to sell 10, that’d be swell! They’re amazing I promise you, people from halcon can vouch!

Here’s the cover for the latest Wonder Dudes in Gamesoft World podcast. This one was for Corpse Party.
My idea was a lot more simple than usual: a Sachiko paper doll and hand lettering, but I think I like this one the most out of the ones I’ve made. I really like hand lettering so I thought I’d try it this time. I tried to make the 2nd photo as if you ran across it in a dark hallway where the only lighting was a flashlight, but Mzo used the 1st (probably because it was easier to read).
I included the original as the 3rd photo. It doesn’t look as good and it’s not legible but I like the wet look of the paint.
Sachiko is made from tissue paper and a red napkin while the background is ink and the lettering is gouache mixed with acrylic paint

I really enjoyed Mother 1! I played it through a few years ago and didn’t like it that much, but this time i did, not sure what all has changed.
I wanted to put Pippi, Eve, and a Flying Man in here too, but i actually think it might look better with just the three mains, no Teddy even.
